Fully automated Batch XSL Transformer (Java). JobTicket controlled Batch Transformation for any XML and XHTML data contained in hotfolders. Already contained useful functions may be called and used from an XSL style sheet: – Calling and controlling the image converters ImageMagick and Ghostscript – Write log files and show processing messages – Read, write and delete external files – ... Ideal to transform XML data extracted with 'BatchXport' or 'XTend-Xport' from QuarkXPress documents to any other output format. This package is also used to push XML ePaper data into our ePaperArchives database!
Contains: – Installation and Programer's Manual
– Java-Application
– Starter programs for Windows, Mac OS X and Unix
– XSL Style sheet for the transformation of XML data (including ePaper XML),
extracted with 'BatchXport' or 'XTend-Xport' to HTML4.
– XSL Style sheet to push XML data, extracted
with 'BatchXport' or 'XTend-Xport', into a MySQL database.
Main Features:
– Drag and drop transformation of XML and XHTML files– Work on folder structures - called hotfolders - in fully automated batch mode – Copy target files to mounted volumes or make FTP transfer – Push XML data into a database – Pass parameters to XSL Transformation – Integrated JobTicket Scheduler When the programs 'Ghostscript' and 'ImageMagick' are installed: – Convert high resolution images (TIFF, EPS...) to JPEG – Configurable DPI and quality of JPEG images. With the help of GhostScript, BatchXSLT may extract the text content from EPS files (ads) and save it into an XML file. The following information may be defined in JobTickets: – Hotfolder containing XML and any other type
of files.
– which XSL (XML Style Language) is to be used
for the transformation.
– Output: Either a local or network volume,
a database or an FTP URL.
– Save path for processed files.
– Name of the next JobTicket to process
'Chaining' JobTickets allows the processing of an unlimited number of hotfolders. |
